Bee Tree Earrings | #3
Bee Tree Earrings | #3
Like glowing drops of honey gently held in a weathered tree. Earrings made for reaching into honey trees and pulling out liquid gold.
Each earring was carefully measured and shaped into a hexagon and suspended from sturdy earwires. Warm honey citrine gemstones are carefully balanced within a hammered twig.
They have been oxidized and hand polished for an organic look, and to bring out the low-lights.
☀ Earrings measure about 42mm (1.65”) from the top of the earlier to the bottom of the earrings.
☀ See the photo of the earrings being worn for size reference

☀ This piece is part of the Honeybee Collection, which features rich, glowing honey-colored citrine gemstones, real leaf print, honeybee silhouettes, red brass pollen granules, and regal crown bezels. See the Honeybee Collection section for more one of a kind pieces!
☀ Keep in mind that some of these citrines have some surface fissures, pits, and crackles where the inner textures touch the surface. These stones are very organic and natural. Which, I think adds to their charm! But be sure to look at all photos prior to purchase.

♥ To create my antiqued pieces, the sterling silver is oxidize until dark gray. Oxidation is a process that happens over time naturally to sterling silver. Then the piece is brushed and polished until the highlights are lighter and the lowlights are darkened. But this oxidization is not permanent, and will fade in the areas that rub, and stay dark in the recesses. The patina will change over time, making your piece unique to you, and growing more beautiful with wear.
