“Summer afternoon – summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.” – Henry James
A necklace as warm as a summer afternoon with the gentle susurrus to mark the time.
For this necklace design, I decided to include a few variations so you could choose one that sings to you.
This necklace is made from unique slices of Montana agate and sweet little Hessonite garnets. Each built into the chain equal distances apart.
Some are simply set with no edge, and have tiny geometric windows sawn out of the backs to resemble the patterning of a butterfly wing. Others have a thin edge trailing around the stones, deep shadows tucked in every corner. And there are also glowing, smooth Montana agate drops in some of the necklaces as well.
It is lovely to see the light stream through the stones with all the tiny swirls of color and opacity.
