Painted ladies, the sweetest and most understated of the butterflies, with their burnt oranges, creamy whites, and stripes of black swirling through their wings.
And these simple earrings to honor those beauties.
These earrings are made from unique slices of Montana agate cut as a pair.
On the backs of the agate dangles, I have sawn tiny geometric and slightly irregular windows, to look like the patterning of a butterfly wing.
For each pair of earrings, I used very different agate pairs, varying in shape, patterning, color, and size.

♥ Made in my work studio using time-consuming, age-old metalsmithing techniques. This piece is made with solid craftsmanship and all parts of this piece have been hand-fabricated.
