An echo of the wintery version of this from several years ago, this necklace is a collection of the loveliest colors and textures of summer. Greens and blues that stretch and fade into one another, bright glowing orange berries, glinting gold trembling in a breeze, and swallows to mark the days.
These necklaces all feature an oval focal hessonite garnet gemstone, surrounded by petals of turquoise, all very different in cut, color, shape, and matrix. As unique as it's wearer. On the backs of the pendants are secret bird silhouettes, eternally sailing through the air.
Built into the chain are polished hammered brass teardrops to catch the light.
Suspended from a sterling silver chain, adjustable from 17 - 20".
Pendant measures about 40mm from top to bottom.
☀☀ Keep in mind that red brass is a warm, earthy metal, and though I wax all my jewelry to slow tarnishing, the brass in particular will patina and darken over time. But you can always give it a brush with your usual jewelry polish if you’d like to bring it back to warm glowing gold.
