A ring for Luthien, so I chose the most beautiful large stones to sit confidently atop the hand, sturdy as an oak. And on the backs of the stones, I have sawn a tiny window in the shape of a delicate leafy frond. A little sprig made of light and prehnite. A secret piece of the forest to keep with you.

Some of the stones are clear enough that you can see the silhouette when it’s atop your hand. Others are truly secret, only revealing themselves when held to the light.

I have placed impressions of real leaves into the wide bands of these rings. They are set at random to give them the feeling of movement, like leaves falling from a tree. They are lilting and half-hidden.

And in the center, soothing green prehnites in various cuts, hues, and shapes; different like the various types of trees in the glades beside Esgalduin, where Beren first beheld Luthien.

It has been oxidized and hand polished for an organic look, and to bring out the lowlights double layered pattern.

☀ ATTENTION: Since it is a wide, it will fit snugly, it fits A HALF - A FULL SIZE SMALL. Therefore it is recommended to purchase AT LEAST a 1/2 size larger than your regular size.

As always with my wide bands, I give the size that it reads on the mandrel. But since it is wide, it will fit snug. Therefore it is recommended to purchase a ring that is listed as 1/2 – 1 full size larger than your regular size. I prefer my wide bands a little looser so my hands can breathe, so I go a full size up.

♥ To create my antiqued pieces, the sterling silver is oxidize until dark gray. Oxidation is a process that happens over time naturally to sterling silver. Then the piece is brushed and polished until the highlights are lighter and the lowlights are darkened. But this oxidization is not permanent, and will fade in the areas that rub, and stay dark in the recesses. The patina will change over time, making your piece unique to you, and growing more beautiful with wear.
