Deep crimson and soft grey lace agate, layered like years worn on the heart. 



This ring features a unique lace agate in bold layers of color and quartz crystals.

The stone is set in the center of a shadowbox to accentuate the stone. Deep ravines of shadows and oxidization. And around the edge is a smooth round border, tracing the lines of the stone, aligning as required. 

It is set atop a heavily textured rectangle band. 

The ring has been oxidized and polished to look blackened and weathered by time and tempering.

♥ To create my antiqued pieces, the sterling silver is oxidize until dark gray. Oxidation is a process that happens over time naturally to sterling silver. Then the piece is brushed and polished until the highlights are lighter and the lowlights are darkened. But this oxidization is not permanent, and will fade in the areas that rub, and stay dark in the recesses. The patina will change over time, making your piece unique to you, and growing more beautiful with wear.
