Similar to the rings, the gemstones all vary widely. Some are dainty and small, easily tucked under a sweater and worn every day. Others are bold and sparkling, pleading with the wearer to bathe in moonlight. A necklace for every personality. 

Each necklace features a smooth moonstone gemstone, set in a straight bezel without border or adornment.

But the backs of the pendants have a secret just for the wearer. Small brushed moons are set amidst a sprinkling of fused silver dust. 

To me, the backs look simultaneously like the rough moon dust, as well as a field of stars set against the night sky. 

And built into the chain, one single star shimmering against the skin. 

Measures 35mm from the top of the ring to the bottom of the pendant.

♥ All of the pieces in my collections are handmade, and make use of natural and recycled materials. All items will have slight, natural imperfections in the handiwork, as well as the gemstones. It is these variations and imperfections which denote their handcrafted nature and individual character.

♥ To create my antiqued pieces, the sterling silver is oxidize until dark gray. Oxidation is a process that happens over time naturally to sterling silver. Then the piece is brushed and polished until the highlights are lighter and the lowlights are darkened. But this oxidization is not permanent, and will fade in the areas that rub, and stay dark in the recesses. The patina will change over time, making your piece unique to you.
